Why Was The Book of Proverbs Written?

In my own words:

The book of Proverbs was written to instruct the future King of Israel in the ways of God's wisdom and understanding. Written from the viewpoint of a wise father and also a mother, it is useful for God's children of all times, for them to understand the unsearchable and wonderful ways of God, to know His wisdom which passes understanding, to understand His concepts and truths, and to have His knowledge. Seeing life from the perspective of the creator is infinitely above and beyond seeing life from the viewpoint of the finite, and small, little, creature.
