4 Recommended Books for your Christian Bookshelf.. more to come

Here are some wonderful Christian books from great Christians of the past to add to your shelf. I've read or am reading them all and thoroughly recommend them.

1) Foxe's Book of Martyrs... truly inspiring and faith-building. Warning: Don't read this before dinner. It's not exactly condusive to eating. You will be blessed and I pray I also, like many of these great men and women, will be truly "setia sampai mati", faithful to the end.

The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer - I have just started this one, will be reading it this week. This should be read by every Christian who wants to be a true disciple of Christ. Warning: Not to be read if you want a fun and easy Christian life.

The Hiding Place - a truly inspiring auto-biography. Yet it is fun to read, but more importantly, it tells of a family that so loved God and was faithful unto death. And most importantly, it is a witness to wonderful love and grace and faithfulness of God in terrible times. I love to read it and my copy is all worn out. Warning: It may seem to have a bad ending to the earthly mind, but a glorious one to the heavenly-minded.

The normal Christian life (I couldn't find the book cover so I put the audio one. I read the book)Dead to sin, alive to God. That is the message of this book. Very very good and helped me understand justification and sanctifition. Puts them both very clearly. To know Christ's work is most important for any Disciple of Christ. Warning: None
